Rolls Out Fully Automatic U Shape Aluminum Baffle Ceiling Production Line

Guangdong Zhongchuang Building Decoration Materials Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of architectural linear ceiling materials, officially put into operation its brand-new fully automatic integrated production line dedicated to U shape aluminum baffle ceiling, marking a major upgrade of the factory's production capacity and processing precision.

The new production line integrates automatic aluminum extrusion, CNC fixed-length cutting, multi-stage surface pretreatment, dust-free automatic spraying, thermal wood grain transfer and digital stretch bending processes, realizing one-stop forming of all specifications of U channel aluminum baffles without repeated handling between workshops.

Before the new line went online, the factory separated extrusion, coating and bending procedures, which brought longer production cycles and slight color difference risks for bulk orders of large commercial projects. After the integrated automatic line launches, the whole production flow is controlled by digital system, with unified parameter standards for each processing link, effectively eliminating batch color difference and dimension deviation.

The factory's monthly output of U shape aluminum baffle ceiling rises from 75,000 square meters to 120,000 square meters, a 60% capacity improvement. For overseas large-scale projects including airport terminals, shopping mall complexes and office building clusters, the delivery lead time is shortened from 25 working days to 14 working days, greatly improving the company's competitiveness in global bidding projects.

The R&D department also optimized the mold structure of U channel profiles, newly adding thin-wall high-stability U molds ranging from 1.0mm to 1.2mm wall thickness, catering to the lightweight design trend of international architects. The upgraded thermal transfer equipment can restore more natural wood grain textures, with surface similarity up to 96% compared with solid wood.

"Global demand for linear U aluminum baffle ceiling keeps growing, especially for large public construction projects in Southeast Asia, Australia and Middle East markets," the factory general manager introduced. "This fully automatic production line is prepared to cope with surging overseas order volume. We can stably supply mass customized U baffles for international large projects while maintaining strict quality inspection standards."

Up to now, the factory has received multiple framework orders from overseas engineering contractors, covering shopping mall U ceiling projects in Vietnam, hotel linear baffle projects in Dubai and office building ceiling projects in Sydney. The new production line will fully support these bulk customized orders and ensure on-time shipment.
