Acceptance Standards and Inspection Methods for Aluminum Veneer Curtain Wall Engineering

2026-04-20 15:38:15

The aluminum veneer curtain wall shall be accepted in four standardized stages in strict accordance with Technical Code for Metal and Stone Curtain Wall Engineering (JGJ 133), Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Decoration and Finishing Works (GB 50210), and Aluminum Veneer for Building Decoration (GB/T 23443), aligned with international standards such as ASTM and AAMA.

blog-1-1

1. Material Incoming Acceptance

Check the aluminum plate thickness, material report, PVDF/powder test report, and certificate of conformity; galvanizing quality of keel; compatibility test report of weather-resistant sealant and structural sealant; combustion grade report of fire-resistant rock wool. Unqualified materials are strictly prohibited from entering the site.

2. Concealed Works Acceptance (Top Priority)

  • On-site pull-out test of post-installed chemical anchors is qualified;
  • Keel spacing, verticality and connection firmness meet the standards;
  • Fire-resistant rock wool blocking between floors is dense and continuous;
  • Inter-floor waterproof lining board is lapped in a standardized way without potential leakage risks.Take photos and file the concealed works, and the panel can be closed only after the acceptance is qualified.

3. Curtain Wall Four Performance Type Test

The project must be tested by a third party: wind pressure resistance, water tightness, air tightness, in-plane deformation (seismic) performance. All four items must be qualified before construction and completion.

4. On-Site Measured Acceptance

  • Facade verticality ≤2mm/m;
  • Panel surface flatness ≤2mm;
  • Panel joint height difference ≤0.5mm;
  • The glue joint is full, smooth, continuous without bubbles and cracks;
  • The whole curtain wall has no color difference, no scratches and no appearance defects.

5. On-Site Water Spray Test

Continuous spray test is carried out on the exterior wall joints, window sides, internal and external corners. No water seepage trace in the room is regarded as qualified waterproof.

6. Completion Data and Final Qualification Judgment

The project is formally accepted and delivered for use only when the drawings, calculation documents, test reports, concealed records, quality assurance documents are complete; and the appearance, safety, fire protection and waterproof all meet the standards.
